On the afternoon of October 30, the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) jointly organized a seminar themed "AI Empowers Small Molecule Drug R&D" with the Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biomedicine. The core team from Beijing StoneWise Technology Co., Ltd. and representatives from 12 local biopharmaceutical innovation enterprises gathered to depict a new blueprint for AI-driven drug R&D.
At the seminar, the StoneWise team systematically demonstrated core technologies including AI molecular generation, activity prediction, and R&D pipeline acceleration & cost reduction, and shared cooperation cases with domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies. Participating enterprises such as Hanmeng Testing, Ruichuang Kangtai, Pharma Pharmaceutical, Danna Bio, Quanhecheng Bio, and Chenxin Pharmaceutical conducted in-depth exchanges focusing on pain points such as data sharing, algorithm adaptation, and clinical translation.
In the next step, TEDA will focus on collaborative innovation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, accelerate the opening up of resources such as computing power, data, and scenarios, and rely on the Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biomedicine to continuously build a supply-demand docking platform for AI-empowered biopharmaceutical R&D. It will promote strengthened cooperation between AI drug R&D enterprises and local enterprises in links such as target discovery, lead compound optimization, and clinical protocol design, steadily advance AI-enabled industrial work, and provide effective support for the high-quality development of the regional biopharmaceutical industry.
